What do I feed my Pennsylvanicus? Should I give them one small fruit fly per day? Or a cricket leg per day? My first worker is going to come soon. Please give me a certain amount of food per worker and per day. Thanks.
I forgot. Where do I buy the food?

Just feed them a crushed cricket and see how much they eat. They aren't like dogs that will over eat. If they seem to be picking at the cricket after it's mostly been eaten and dried out, give them another. When they are done feeding and leave some behind, remove the excess and over time you will learn what they need and how often. Remember that they need sugars as well. I give my colonies a feeder of sugar water every few days and pull it back out once they stop feeding from it (same as the proteins).

Fruit flies, small crickets, spiders. All dead (pre-killed) of course.
And they need sugar waters always available (just fill a small test tube with sugar water and place it in the outworld, replace once per week or when it's empty - whatever comes first).

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.
