Feed them once the remains of the last cricket start to look non-edible (Usually 1-3 Days) and remove the remains. I use a wire bent at the end like a hook to putt out larger remains and a disposable cotton q-tip to remove any molding liquids or other small pieces.
sounds good, ill try that
the queen layed a new batch of eggs, but a different worker got that stuck on her beard. so now both batches are being carried around by the workers. at least they can't eat them now
LOL If what you are saying is true, and they are not just carrying them around, that's hilarious!

The colony has been given two different types of seeds to choose from, and only seem to like kentucky blue grass seeds
They have been isolated, in the darkness for about 1 week now. other than that their is no update
I've gotten them some fruit flies, and they seem to love that. They are also liking the sugar water now... odd but I'm down.
Okay, i found out that my camera wasnt bad after all, and i just needed lighting! I'm going to be recording them today!
i need to find a way to cut out the background noise because my birds are too loud...
trying to upload it to youtube
you guys ever seen this happen ?
Looks nest mate transport behavior; workers signal their intentions via antennal tapping and nipping, and then the intended worker curls up into the pupal position to allow for easy carrying. Ants who rely less on chemical markers practice such behavior much more readily, often for nest relocation.

Yeah, every time I see ants carrying or dragging each other, the one being dragged always curls up and pulls its legs in.
oh, thank you guys! i thought there was some betrayal happening
the colony has now blossomed with at least 7 larvae and a batch of eggs. they have also received two more workers

The colony is being fed once everyday. They have three small fruit flies, with sugar water, and kentucky blue grass seeds.
