I have 30 bags of methylparaben all weighed out into 3 gram portions and ready to send out.
My costs for this are as follows:
$17 for 1 pound (453g) of methylparaben or just a little under 4 cents a gram...
$3 for 150 bags that I also use for bug collecting (already had them).
$7 for a box of envelopes (already had it).
$0.49 cents per stamp for shipping ($8 - already had them).
These are each a $225 value if you follow my guide to make 1 gallon of methylparaben water.
That means for each bag that I am giving away there are 11 cents of methylparaben included - enough to make 1 gallon of methylparaben water for test tubes.
- To use it just pour the entire contents of the bag into a gallon jug of distilled water.
- If your mold problems in tubes are extremely bad you can go as aggressive as adding it to 1/2gallon of distilled water.
- If you have extra solution left over that you do not want to use for tubes it can be used to make ant nectar mix by simply adding in table sugar.
- Unfortunately I can accept no responsibility for your results as I cannot ensure that each of you follow my instructions exactly (but they are pretty simple so please follow them!).
