I recently caught a Dorymyrmex Bureni queen, and I wanted to know if it is a good beginner species to keep. It already has a few eggs, in case you wanted to know :D

Yes, it is a good beginner species. I personally have a queen of this species and it is easy to care for. Colonies of this ant don't get very large like some other ants e.g. S.invicta, so you should be fine. They are quite a wonder in my opinion.
