On Saturday, it is supposed to be 73 here in Wisconsin. I'm guessing that for some parts of North America it will be the same or maybe even warmer... Prenolepis could fly once again. Maybe even a few other spp too.

Just a heads up.

You should edit the thread title and make it for wisconsiniters! Seems there is a thread for California, Massachusetts, etc. Let's start a thread for wisconsin anters. Me, you and tgrmag are it for now, but more will come along soon I hope.

P. imparis flew heavily for MA, RI, CT from what I've heard on our Massachusetts Anting Thread, and a flight for me. So, you can bet your house they are flying down South once the snow bomb states start getting some action.

Raining cats and dogs here in N. California. Had 3 days of no rain but didn't get warm enough to see any ants out and about.

If winter ever ends here maybe I can catch some Camponotus queens lol

Yeah, we're having a never ending winter in Southern California too, except with no rain.

for Michigan its going to be 75F with a 30% chance of t-storms on Saturday so they might fly again but depending on the rain it may get cut short
