My messor barbarus queen (3 weeks on my house) isn't laying any eggs and I'm pretty scared ;-;
Give us more information please. What do you keep her in? What temperature? Where did you find her?
We need more info before any help can be given.
She is probably infertile or stressed.
Hit "Like This" if it helped.
Some queens take longer to lay, otherwise it is infertile or stressed. To avoid your queen from being stressed, don't shake the test tube and put her in a dark space. Hope she lays!
All my colonies are dead.
Except:
Pogonomyrmex barbatus
Pheidole obscurithorax
Pheidole morens
I bought her in a web that I really know its viable and she had also some workers before she came here,when it was time I replaced the testube with a nest and the temperature its arround 20 or 22 degrees
Right now I noticed something really great~ There's one ant carring the eggs constantly,I don't really know why,but that means the queen layed eggs !
Also,they have mites and I'm doing the lemon/orange therapy
