Haha, i'll be getting me a lot more antlions, currently have 2 or 3. Hoping to put them in a very large multi colony setup one day, which may never happen.

And my ants never escape. I lied. I just cull from large colonies, or doomed colonies.

Charge your phone..... and take another video for when it eventually submerges!!!!

What's the process? Antlion is munchin' on the back end of the live ant? Will it pull it under and have it...suffocate?

It normally pulls the ant completely under, but that ant lion was in a low spot of their setup, so he couldn't go any deeper. The ant was eventually pulled sideways enough to completely cover. I'll get more videos as time goes on.

Them things are terrifying. I have no idea why I have these irrational fears of getting swallowed by a giant one while driving my car home.
