Found climbing on an oak tree @ 8:30pm- she'd just taken her wings off. Was very humid, not very warm.

 

about 11mm long, sorry for the bad shots

 

damaged gaster found her like that, hopefully she makes a full recovery

Not really. It's going to be even colder. These will fly multiple times in my experience. It's warm spring nights over 70F when I find them by the hundreds. Most start showing up around the black light after 9:00 PM. I say around, because hardly any of them land on the light or the sheet. They all land on the ground within 30 feet or so from the light. Some people report seeing them fly in the morning the second the warm sunlight hits the nest entrance.

I found one of these while blacklighting at Chaney Trail a few weeks ago. Just one. A friend hiked there during the day and witnessed a flight as well.

 

The one I now have still has its wings, but also lots of eggs and larvae.
