Hi everyone,

I just realized I've never formally introduced myself and son to everyone.  Since my son is 11 years old, we both share this account.  But he is definitely the ant enthusiast and I just enjoy the hobby with him.  He's always been interested in ants, but he's recently gotten me addicted to them too.  I'm far from knowing all the scientific names like him, but I enjoy pets like chameleons, fish and reef tanks, tarantulas and now ants!  I love off-roading and hiking and being outdoors too so ant hunting is perfect for me!

It seems like SoCal has a large variety of ants and a decent number of fellow ant lovers.  I look forward to getting to know some of you and many thanks in advance for answering our noob questions!

Nothing more cool and memorable than a dad and son sharing the same hobby and doing things together. Welcome!

Welcome Soysauce!

I'm an active ant lover and have gone anting with Drew a number of times, but do not post much on here mainly because of life and a lot of work outside the world of ants. But if you have any ant questions feel free to shoot me a message!
