I love the ones we have! My personal favorite is C. Noveaboricensis.
They aren't anywhere close to the U.S. The United States still has many endemic genuses. Be happy with the ones we have

I once dropped Hawaii's smallest ant species on the ground (some sort of microscopic Cardiocondyla, the queen was barely bigger than a Solenopsis molesta worker!) with all of her brood. She tunneled away into the carpet, never to be seen again.
