Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.
The ants are looking beautiful!
I named my Stigmatomma queen Harpegnathos due to a depressing lack of Harpegnathos in the US.
sadly, the leptogenys aren't doing too well, not sure why
closest thing to myrmecia i can get.

Wait, wat? In my opinion, Harpegnathos is as cool (if not cooler) as Myrmecia. I just love their "barbed" mandibles.

Odontoponera have a sting, they only seem to use it on prey though, they don't even attempt to sting the tweezers.

Maybe I will discover the first one here!
They aren't anywhere close to the U.S. The United States still has many endemic genuses. Be happy with the ones we have

Ha! I can't even find Tetramorium in Tennessee!
I accidentally froze all my ants
Just like how Wasmannia is supposed to be common in Hawaii. During my two years there, I only saw one worker.
I love the ones we have! My personal favorite is C. Noveaboricensis.They aren't anywhere close to the U.S. The United States still has many endemic genuses. Be happy with the ones we haveaccording to antmaps, no. sorry.
