Hello! I'm just wondering if anyone uses water gel crystals in there setup for a source of water. I know most people use test tubes, but i have a small container where i can not put my test tube in there. If you know where to get water gel crystals or polyacromide copolymer at a store. Please comment and help me! Note: I live in Toronto, Canada

P.S I cannot order online since I'm broke xD.

You can use a reaction tube, they are very small.

You could also use soaked cotton on a bit of tinfoil.

Don't waste your time or money on this. Ants can only consume liquids that may be sucked up, such as with a straw, or by licking the surface. Because this material has such a high affinity for water, it is very difficult for ants to obtain water from it.

Water gel bits are made insects that eat large chunks of solid matter, like crickets, roaches and locusts.
They are not made for insects that acquire liquids by licking them off a surface, such as bees, flies and ants.
