I was given this plant and I want to know what it is. My teacher gave it to me and called it a house plant. I doubt that will help. That's about all I have to say. Thanks if you can help.

Oh no, this is the elusive Pinkomyrmex kittycus. Very common misinterpretation; what a find.

Lol. She licks plastic bags and now tries to lick the plant. She's always acted strange. Instead of drinking from the water bowl she sometimes just smacks it so it spills (annoying). But I'm worried she'll try and eat the plant so I through a plastic bag over it.
