Hey all. I know you must have seen these posts a lot lately, but just keep reading. We have made a new discord, mostly for mature people, removing all the immature people. Not only was it the immature people, it were the people who broke the rules of our chat. Now, for those who don't know what discord is its a free voice and text chat app designed specifically for gaming. Discord was born out of our own frustrations with the voice and chat tools we all use while playing games. It’s a bit strange that in 2015 most of us are using chat apps that haven’t been updated even while you are AFK.

It's not only for games however. It's also a mix of skype, but with an a lot easier interface. You don't need to download anything easier unlike Skype, but also allows you to download the app for an easier time. We do not accept anyone under the age of 13, and will kick anyone who starts fights, acts like a 4 year old, etc.. If you want to join the General ant discussion Discord Chat, you can join and create an account without an email by clicking this link: https://discord.gg/ZXFTVzD

So, why not just come and join us? We're hoping we can increase the community and have a great time. Thank you guys for reading.

Well, I believe there is a fine line. Honestly as long as it's not out of control, you can't expect discussions to always be focused on ants. Take the chat here for example, some of the time it is on ants, while other times discussions can range from the weather, to just about anything else. Also I wouldn't be really expecting people to spend there time helping people on there either. Here on the forum, the topic where they were helped is there for all future people who need it. On discord the topic would be soon lost and it wouldn't be there to help any future ant keepers with the same question.

So, basically what I am saying, is that if anyone is to join, it is more than likely just going to be because they are looking to enjoy them selves and have fun.
