Hi, I'm Austin and I'm from Missouri(hence my username). Like everyone else here, I love ants and I came here to learn as much as I could about them and maybe help some other people along the way. I just recently started searching for ants about a month and a half ago and currently have 11 Camponotus pennsylvanicus queens, 7 Tapinoma sessile queens, and 2 Tetramorium sp. E queens. I look forward to interacting with you all!

Welcome. There a few other people here from Missouri, myself included, along with decent number of people from the general Midwest.

Nice to see you're from the St. Louis area as well. Just so you know, your Tetramorium sp. E queens are very likely to actually be T. tsushimae, Japanese pavement ants. They've replaced T. sp E here in St. Louis and the surrounding areas. They're very similar, save that they're a little bit smaller and highly polygynous.
