Hello everyone, on Jan. 22nd i found a colony of Camponotus nearcticus. The colony consists of 3 majors, ~20 workers ~50 eggs(now most are larvae) and a queen. I've been raising them in the same setup as my Camponotus pennsylvanicus and Camponotus Nove queens. The colony is by far the most aggressive of any Camponotus i own. The don't seem to take super worms but surely loved the other food i've gave them. After talking to my 2 ant buddies who also live near me our thoughts are that this was a bigger colony that ended up being forced from its home and most of the colony was killed in some way.
So anyone ever raised these girls? If so any useful hints?
