1. Location of collection:  Pinyon Pines, San Jacinto Mountains, California.
2. Date of collection:  7-26-2014.
3. Habitat of collection:  Pinyon pine high desert scrub.
4. Length (from head to gaster):  4mm.
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:  All yellow.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Very tiny spines.

I posted another one of these very similar to this one a while back, but this one's spines are so small you can barely see them.

Likely Temnothorax andrei according to both James C. Trager and gcsnelling.

Here's some new microscope pictures I took of this queen. Definitely only 11 antennal segments there.
