Found 4 of these queens inside my house in Perth, WA, about 3 months ago.

 

Queen is a bit over 10mm long, workers are around 4mm long.

 

Queen is solid black, workers are a little transluscent, a reddish-brown colour, with a slightly darker abdomen and head.

Thanks for your help guys, someone on the discord chat seems to have identified it as Brachyponera lutea
