I found this ant while I was walking around and tried to pick it up in reaction, she stung my hand. She is pretty big about 1.5cm she also has a reddish gaster. She has ripped her wings off and settled down now.

As far as I can tell, her head and thorax look like a normal stigmatomma but her gaster is rly long

Stigmatomma pallipes is a North American species and only 7mm long. We can't ID your ant without seeing pictures of your ant. I don't know what kind of care your queen requires, but at least it may be just similar to Stigmatomma.

You need to check the shape of the mandibles.... it can be stigmatomma, myopias, amblypone, buniapone, myopopone.
