January 23 2017 - Out of hibernation a little over a week and both queens have laid eggs.

Hope they grow into strong colonies! I have 9 of these queens myself.

February 11 2017 - Both are doing well, but they wouldn't let me get a good picture of them. Eggs aren't developing even half as fast as the Crematogaster cerasi.
