Hi,

I feed my ants a steady diet of fruit flies, honey and the occasional bug I find. I was curious what everyone else feeds their ants?

Thanks,

Mdrogun

Any insect I find outside like crickets, flys, isopods. Also I have made a fruit fly farm and I just put a container over the top of the entrance and hit the bottle then they all fly out and I catch them and freeze them. And for a liquid I give them sugar water.

Sugar ants, despite their name will eat a termite almost to nothing.

I like maple syrup if its 100%. so do the ants. :)

Syrup, mainly for the sugar source. Mealworms and other insects for protein, freshly killed. I might also share a bit of cotton soaked Pepsi or Coke [yes you can like both] I haven't tried Mountain Dew yet, because I don't like sharing.
