Heat lamp, how much power?

I want to give my ants a terrarium heat lamp so they can take a sunbath and warm their brood, which size/power is best for that? It should only be a small lamp warming a spot in a corner of one of their outworlds.

We should respect all forms of consciousness. The body is just a vessel, a mere hull.

It's really dependent on container size, but try a 40 or 60 w spot with a narrow focus.

Be careful not to place any gravity-assisted liquid feeders or plants in the way, as the temperature change will force liquid out of a feeder, and the intensity will burn plant leaves.
