So I'm planning on making a DIY formicarium following this procedure here

So since I don't have any good sponges lying around, I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on sponges that hydrate formicariums efficiently. Thanks.

It doesn't have to be sponges. Sometimes I use Hydrostone or cotton. Any water containing/absorbing material works.

What about a cellulose sponge? Like the ones that stores sell for cleaning cars... You can cut to fit and reuse!

I don't thing the type of sponge is a huge issue. Any dollar store cellulose sponge without the grit glued to the side will be fine

Hit "Like This" if it helped.
