hi ,drew, what type leaf and petal do you use for Acromyrmex versicolor ? I find out they prefer yours .

dried rose petals. It's what I use for my colonies as well.
Yea I did the same, but it seems like they don't really like it. When I put what I got from Drew, they are going to cut at once, feels like they prefer Drew's made.

He uses dried rose petals as far as I am aware, that's why I said that.  Mine go crazy over cichlid pellets more than rose petals.

Yeah, dried rose petals and fish pellets. I put my rose petals in the oven around 250 degrees to make them crispy.

Everything that says available in green is available. I'm guessing you meant C. vicinus?

hi Drew,

there is a reptile show in Pomona , I think about to get a table for ant .

there was a show actually in Anaheim, I did not see ant selling , in fact ,there was not a lot insect selling ,

so I am wondering maybe I can get a table and have a try ,

but I do not have very good colony for showing . considering you are a professional great ant keeper ,

could you give me some support ? or maybe we can do this together ?

thank you

I really don't have time for hardly anything right now. The forum is still being hosted out of my apartment for one thing.

Hey Drew, when will you have Acromyrmex available again?

Probably around mid august. They won’t fly for a little while longer.

Currently: Considering moving to Australia
Reason: Myrmecia
