Yeah thought so, from the pictures. They are an awesome species, but so weird that the queens are HUGE for no obvious reason. Nothing else seems different, except the huge queens. I remember last year, I thought I got a Camponotus queen or something because they are giant. If I recall, bigger than the Pogonomyrmex californicus queens I've had. Or at least as big. I'd never once have guessed them to be Crematogaster at the time. And, I don't think anyone figured out in the ID threads for those, why these queens are so big. Its really cool, but kinda weird since nothing else is different about them.

That would make sense. That be only thing I could think of, especially since the workers are pretty much the same size as other Crematogaster species.

Still have the C. Laevigatus?  I will gladly take them if you can advise me on a recommended formicarium and diet.  I've never kept that sp. and want it to be successful.

Yeah I still have one more I would be willing to sell. Right now I actually have it in a small founding formicarium. I can put them in a test tube though if you decide you want it. If you want it in the formicarium, it would be 30 dollars more.

Drew awesome Ants. The reason why your getting bombarded with requests is that your
Prices are 30 to 50% too low. If you raised them a bit it would balance out. I think another service you could off is anting field trips you acting as a guide and people could learn/collect their own. Maybe charge 30 to 50 a head. Just the education would be worth that
