In honor of a life changing event, I'm giving away 5 tarheel ant formicariums , I will also pay shipping. Only thing Is the hydration, I hate the fact you have use needles so I have only one. So heres were you guys take part, Should I give all 5 to 1 person, or 1 per person? After this post is cleared up, I'll make the giveaway post which will be Chosen Feb 1 & shipped 2 or after. USA only.

I really like the THA stuff myself but I think that using a needle, even a blunt needle is a bit questionable, there are  many other ways they could go about it. For instance if you look at my formicarium building journal ( http://www.formicult...-build-journal/) you can see I am able to use a syringe for precise watering without the use of a needle, I use a Luer Lock clave that is then connected to a water tower similar to the THA water tower, although I call mine a water reservoir since its not really a tower.

 

Oh and as for your "giveaway" I think one per person would be nicer.

Cool, but if you don't mind me asking, what was the life changing event? You don't have to answer if you don't want to or if it goes against the forum rules or something.

One per person would probably be best.

I'm assuming your reason for wanting to give them all to one person is the fact that you only have one syringe, you could include that for the "first place winner". It wouldn't be too hard for the other winners to order a blunt syringe online as unlike their sharp counterparts their pretty commonly available.

A pipette will also inject water into a THA formicarium will little mess, trimming it to the OD size of the injection tube to slip into the pipette.
