I picked up a few of these babies! They are very large. I took a video of me handling one but I don't know how to upload it.

Did you just get workers, or did you manage to find a queen?

answered in chat but I will reply here to not appear rude workers and a bunch of brood. I have not looked too closely though, I am keeping the hebel block dark for them until they settle in properly. I am thinking it was only a satellite colony though

I've grabbed what I thought was surely an entire nest before, only to have it turn out to be nothing more than a satellite nest.

Three months later and these guys are still just sitting around doing nothing. They drink sugar water and sit still. That is it. Nothing interesting, nothing cool. They are bludgers.

Love the way that little dude is calmly sitting on the hand grooming itself, doesnt know or care about what else is going on, its happy just chillin.
