I found a dead spider in my planted aquarium so I decided to give it to my ants.
Once I put it in my ant outworld, it laid there for a while, until my ants started biting it. Then it jumped up and started trying to get away from my ants. I worried about my ants, since one ant latched on immediately, even as I took the spider out to “Save my ants” she wouldn't let go!
My sole ant would not let go of the spider, and even appeared to have the upper hand, so I just put the spider and ant duo back into the outworld so more ants joined with them.
I feel sad for the spider, I don’t like watching creatures in pain, but I couldn’t get it out without my ant, and I didn’t want it to be one-on-one.
I am quite happy giving them sugar and other non-live foods, since they don’t have brood to raise. I guess they got a treat today.
