I've just finished a new poll, "Which Ant is the Most Interesting", and I've gotten a request to make a poll like that but more focused on a specific idea, so I made this poll. If you don't want any more polls (and you happen to be a potato), just write "dislike" in the comments and I will stop. :P

So, I'd like to point out that this doesn't need to be a poll. You can just ask people what they think the most interesting ant is. That way, every species gets to participate and there only needs to be this one topic for all of eternity. :P

I know you want results catered to Hawaii, but I think you are the only member who lives there right now.

If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.

 

Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

I have very, very little knowledge about these genera/species but I must say Strumigenys just becuase they look awesome lol.  :P
