Hi!

Since my previous poll (Which ant would win in a battle) was so popular, I created a new poll which will narrow down which ant you guys think is the most exotic, rare, or colorful.

Enjoy!

Weaver ants (Oecophylla) are missing entirely. Also no Myrmecocystus (honey pots) and no Myrmecia (Bull ants).

It's a trick question, y'all! :D

If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.

Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

Camponotus is missing as well (they're cool because they are so polymorphic), also Messor is not in the list either (their chewing communities are really cool).

I dunno if a poll is very accurate for this. There are so many species and genus of ants, I don't even know if the poll thing could even list them all. It be better if it was a more focused poll. Like since you live in hawaii, list the species there, or at least the "main" ones. Which could be Pheidole megacephala, Solenopsis geminata or whatever else.
