I found a queen about 3-4 weeks ago which got identified as iridomyrmex. She layed about 10 eggs and I've been checking up on her once every week to see if she allright. I just checked on her she has 1 quite big larva and 1 tiny one and about 2-3 eggs. Would she of eaten some eggs? Should I give her a drop of honey or sugar water?

A number of eggs which a new queen lays are just eaten by herself or her larvae. This is normal. I can't speak for how much brood is normal for her to have, but all she needs is one worker for her life to become way easier.

If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.
Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.
