I have a solenopsis xyloni queen and she is not eating and hardly moving I think she is trying to hibernate.I don't know how I should hibernate her because she is obviously not used to freezing cold winters and the fridge might kill her also she only started this a week ago so how long will she hibernate for

They definitely hibernate which answers your main question, but I have no idea what the temp should be, or anything else for that matter. I do not live near your area. Hope that helped a bit.

I don't think they do. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the assumption that S. xyloni lives in or near the desert and doesn't have a need to hibernate.

Yeah, I was starting to think again. I read up and apparently they keep reproducing and such if they are in a warm enough climate (So yes, deserts) , but they still however slow down a bit if they are located more Northern. If I was you Sam, I would try to replicate best as possible what it is outside. I do not know much about this topic, so do not quote me on this.
