I just looked at my colony and I saw ants had dropped some larvae into the water feeder like in the dish thing where the ants get the water. What does it mean? Is the nest not wet enough or something?

Is the water feeder the only thing hydrating your nest? If so, then yes, your nest needs to be more moist. You can not have just a water feeder for water, you need to have the nest absorb water or contain a good humidity level.

They are in an antkit size 2 nest with another expansion nest there too the size 2 nest where the ants are nesting has a hole with a sponge in it where I put water in. Should I put some more in? How much is enough I usually do a 3/4 full small pippete every 3 days or so?

I've had this same issue before. How long have they been in the setup? If it was a recent move it might not have the colony scent in the formicarium yet.

They have been in there for a while now, about 7 months.

I just checked on them and the larvae has been moved back into the formicarium.

Basically. They're giving the brood a drink. If they're actively moving them to and from, then they're just giving them a sip of fresh water.
