Just wondering if anyone knows where to find ytong blocks in the U.S., and also how you would go about cutting and creating tunnels in it. I would like a good way to do it as I want it to be nearly perfect when I cut it. However, if there is a superior formicarium material, please let me know. Up until this point it seems like ytong is the best. (I'm new to this forum and mostly forums in general so to any admins out there feel free to move this, just let me know where you moved it and why, so that I can learn for future reference.)

Building supply stores will have contacts, but because it's infrequently used in construction in the US, you'll probably need to buy a pallet quantity, which costs a couple hundred bucks. If you figure something else out, don't hesitate to post here--others might like to know as well.

Yeah, developers in the US are just not into the AAC thing like they are in other countries. This makes it next to impossible to find here.
