So I may have found a Camponotus Vicinus colony nearby. I am pretty amazed that the Argentine ants haven't slaughtered them all yet, and am planning to collect them sometime in the near future. Knowing that they probably need to hibernate, and probably are at the moment, I checked my fridge, and found it to be at a temperature of 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Is this too cold for them? If so, what is a more optimal temperature/what can I do to alleviate the problem and make it warmer for them?
