My Lasius niger colony found in 2015, caught this queen after a nuptial flight.
The colony had a setback in growth because it supplied brood for my Lasius umbratus colony.

Start of the Blog, first movie made just before Hibernation.
The colony setup is a test tube, covered in a layer of sand.

At this time the colony is in hibernation.
