Hey everyone me and Diesel were talking about naming our queen/colonies and we were wondering if you guys did. If so what did you name them?

For example Diesel named his queen Kali after a goddess.

Mikey Bustos named his colony The Fire Nation.

I haven't decided yet unfortunately for my Tetramorium but I will soon!

I would name my colony, after it gets some workers. I know my friends and teachers are teasing me to name my ant queens, but I am not sure if I do. I may name both queens later.

I personally think you shouldn't name anything that doesn't come when you call it.

lol, well the girls that I know already are a little questioning of why I keep ant as old as I am... but they manage to overlook that fact,  however if I told them I named them too, I am thinking there is a chance they would no longer over look the whole ant thing. :D

But you married guys do whatever you want!

I also wouldn't name my ants specific to themselves, more as a tag for the colony to know which is which. If that makes any sense... I still don't name them though. If I had to, it would be colony AP1, TE2, etc haha.
