My Aphaenogasters and tetramoriums are still active while all of my other ants are hibernating.

My Myrmecocystus yuma small colony doesn't hibernate.

 

Neither do any other desert ant species.

 

Prenolopis imparis actually like the cold more, so they have a reverse hibernation sequence, hibernating from Late Spring to Early Fall, so they don't hibernate in these times.

P imparis in my area are active until winter and then rest until spring

Here Prenolepis is inactive during the peak of winter and is only a late fall and spring species
