Yea, her thorax is almost bigger than the gaster. :thinking:

I caught another that looks the same, but has even less distinctive gold bands.

Camponotus

She was looking for a nesting spot under some leaf litter.

Happy to see she has all 6 legs, and looks a little fatter.

She has already laid a few eggs.
