I'm bored, so heres a list of things never to do, while ant keeping or anything in general. I don't really want to include illegal things, especially considering it's against the rules.

never get silicone on you fingers.

never get super glue on you.

never mountain bike or go trailing aggressively without gloves.

never put carrots in your eyes, they help eyesight by eating them.

never let small child(s) near a formicarium, with ants in it or not.
never feed pill bugs alive to ants, especially small colonies.

never do something you will regret,

never drink bleach.

never lay down to observe some ants without first making sure that you're not laying down in such a way that the bottom of your pants legs aren't open right next to a column of foraging Pogonomyrmex rugosus.

never get super glue inside of you.

never excessively brood boost young colonies.

never give a uromastyx a water dish.

never use water as a substitute for milk in a milkshake.

I'll continue this list later, feel free to addon in the comments.

I often stick to only providing brood in batches of 4-7 once the colony is established (I try to do this as little as possible).

Added "never use water as a substitute for milk in a milkshake."

Trust me, I don't suggest it.

Do not run over a Formica aserva hill while cutting grass, especially if you are wearing sandals

Do not pick blueberries in sandals (Formica aserva and Polyergus love the same habitat...)

If you must knock down a yellow jacket nest, ensure that you have a clear escape route (or better yet, use a water hose from a distance)

This will not apply to most, but never wear high heels over the drainage grating in commercial entryways.

Do not leave the lid off of an outworld - Murphy's Law declares that something will either escape or enter it.

Keep in mind that Murphy's law (Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong) applies to all aspects of anting and life - and probably applies to every post in this thread.
