This is shearily based off what I have heard... some of these may grow faster than others, but these do grow fast apparently
Pheidole colony
Pogonomyrmex colony
Iridomyrmex
And all fire ant colonies grow extremely fast and large, but many don't want to keep them, ( I do... but) and I don't recommend them as a beginner species. Also the species listed above, i am not sure if those are considered to be beginner species or advanced species or what?
So far as native ants, Tetramorium and Lasius colonies will probably grow the fastest. Tapinoma and Formica would not be far behind, although it's worth noting that Formica stop laying eggs in autumn.
If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.
Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

Black lives still matter.
Yeah, not only myrmica and solenopsis, but also atta and acromyrmex
:>
Oh yeah...
So, applying to Canadian's response, go with Solenopsis fugax, in Netherlands, and you have a plethora of myrmica in your area.
