I was wondering, can you merge Tapinoma melanocephalum colonies together?

I've actually never even heard of merging colonies before! What is the result? Two colonies now getting along? One queen assassinates the other and takes over? The queens become roommates?

It will only work before the colony becomes too big or if they are polygynous

Wondering the same for my T.sessile colonies. I have like 5 or 6 colonies of this species, all with multiple queens. It would be nice to merge them.

Colonies will readily accept more queens and brood but getting colonies to merge is more difficult. Good luck!
