Ant ID Request {Southern California} (I think dealate to my alate post)

1. Location of collection: Aliso Woods, CA
2. Date of collection: 6/3/14
3. Habitat of collection: Coastal Hills
4. Length (from head to gaster): 5-6mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: All black.  Seemed all smooth.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: White-ish antennae.  Huge thorax with small head.  Antennae are short and don't have the elbow from what I could see.
7. Anything else distinctive: 
8. Nest description:

I'm gonna guess Solenopsis xyloni males. Were these swarming all around a crack in the ground?
