1. Location of collection:  Costa Mesa, California.
2. Date of collection:  6-10-2014.
3. Habitat of collection: Urban/Suburban apartment complex.
4. Length (from head to gaster): 3.5mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture:  All brownish yellow, with brown head.
6. Distinguishing characteristics:
7. Anything else distinctive:  Flying early in the morning.
8. Nest description:

 

Edit: This species name changed from Pheidole moerens to Pheidole navigans.

After looking at some pictures online, I think this might be a Pheidole moerens male. We have this species around my apartment complex.
