I got my fridge the other day and have it set to 5-8C. I have a few colonies that are ready to hibernate and a few that need a little more time.

My two Lasius neonigers, have no eggs or workers, I have two Formica sp. with no eggs or workers, a Myrmica queen with no eggs or workers, 3 Crematogaster cerasi with no eggs or workers, a Formica sp. with 10+ workers and larvae, a Formica sp. 30+ workers no brood, a Formica pallidefulva 10+ workers and Larvae, a Camponotus herculeanus 20+ workers and Larvae, a Camponotus pennsylvanicus 5+ workers and Larvae. These are all going into hibernation tomorrow.  And possibly one of my bigger Camponotus noveboracensis colonies 100+ workers no visable brood.

Not very much activity all around now, all have slowed to a crawl, or stopped all together. Excluding my  Lasius umbratus colony in the THA Atom nest, they are still going strong.

My other Camponotus noveboracensis colony still has cocoons and lots of brood, One of the Myrmica queens has just laid eggs, both small Lasius sp. colonies have cocoons, the Lasius umbratus in THA Atom still has a lot of brood and cocoons, Waiting on the other two Lasius umbratus to move into clean test tubes, and My other Camponotus noveboracensis with the fungal problem needs to move before hibernation. Also a small Lasius sp. that just laid eggs. I'm going to try to get the Myrmica, small Lasius sp., and small Lasius sp. to hibernate in the summer so I can have them awake in the winter, the rest will hopefully be ready by the first of next month.

Here's hoping this year goes better than last.

Sorry for the rushed pictures.
