I found this queen in the same tree as the C. pennsylvanicus queen i found on the same day. She was about a foot from the location of the other queen and right next to a small termite colony. She is fairly good sized and also laying eggs at a good rate! I'm most excited to get this colony growing and eventually into a formicarium! Enjoy the pics!

Here are a few more pictures I grabbed on the 10th after I she enjoyed a few drops of honey water. I wish I would have grabbed a before picture! Hopefuly I'll have a better camera by summers end that actually captures her browns and oranges, they are so deep colored that my phone camera just won't pic them up with the lighting in my house.
