Caught 3 of these girls June 28 in north county San Diego. there was 5 or 6 in a 10 foot radius digging their founding chambers so i decided to only take 3.
it took these girls 3 weeks to settle down and start laying eggs.

Hey Chad,
I saw you had a solenopsis xyloni colony up on a closed website called byFormica......if I am correct.
Is it still up for sale for 20 bucks? You are the only ant keeper around me......so if you could help me that would be great! Thx!

There's actually quite a few ant keepers in the San Diego area.
Pretty nice looking queens tho.
