Hibernation of test tubes -- Vertical or Horizontal storage?

I have heard a lot about test tubes flooding due to the temperature changes associated with artificial hibernation.

Do you recommend hibernating the test tube setups in the horizontal or vertical position?

I've been researching proper hibernation as well. I've read horizontal with the open end angled up.

The main flooding is caused by warming up the water when taking them out of hibernation.
