So I've been thinking a lot about it lately, and I believe Formiculture should have an official logo, and I want to be the one to make it. Does anyone have any suggestions? I will be happy to take any ideas into considerations. Commissions start at $20, but it may cost extra depending on the complexity of the design.

Combine a light bulb, an erlenmeyer flask, and a lightning bolt together and make it look like an ant.

The plain "Formiculture.com" in Impact font? Is that what you're referring to?

So how exactly would we do this contest? Should we all like make sketches of our ideas, and then the one the most people voted for will be the one I draw in Adobe Illustrator? What do you guys think?

Nothing wrong with that however there is nothing to say that it would need to be redrawn by anyone. We may have someone here with a hidden talent for art. Regardless of how it works out at no point should one thin dime or shiny fake copper penny change hands for the project.

Do it like AntsCanada does with colony naming. We submit designs, and Drew chooses the winner.
