Hey guys and gals. Tomorrow I plan on doing some ant collecting starting out in the morning I am going to head to this nice lush area which has loads of harvester ants hopefully I'll be able to dig some founding chambers or catch a flight then if I have time do up to an awesome spot which is oak scrub land with medows hopefully get some carpenter ants and some honey pot ants then he'd to the craft store to get some stuff for forncairums I'll post an update tomorrow

After a long rain I collected a decent amount of Acromyrmex vericolor and each is setup more to come

Where did this happen?
After a rain storm I checked out a peice of desert with washes that ran through not 2 minutes after i was there i saw a queens either walking on the ground or digging there founding chambers

Where did this happen?



Many colonys must have flew as a saw many queens at many areas. At one place most were bing hunted by novamessor

I think he means, what US state and what county. Just saying "a piece of desert" doesn't tell us much.

Sorry I thought most people know Arizona but we arnt the most popular state so the location is USA,Arizona,tucson
